Petite Histoire du Swing

Une petite histoire du swing, racontée par Cabu en 40 dessins, écrite par Christian Bonnet en 40 mini biographies des légendes du jazz du 20ème siècle, accompagnée d’un compact disc. (Il s’agit de la version de poche de l’album « Une petite histoire du swing » accompagnée de 2 compact discs.) Entre Cabu et le jazz, chacun le sait, c’était une vieille histoire d’amour... Pendant plus de cinquante ans, sa frange juvénile, ses lunettes et son carnet de croquis ont discrètement arpenté les salles de concerts et les festivals où l’on célébrait les vertus de cette musique roborative chère à son coeur. L’artiste avait par ailleurs au fil du temps mis son talent d’illustrateur au service de plusieurs collections de CDs anthologiques (Cabu Masters Of Jazz, Cabu Jazz Masters, BDJAZZ) sur les couvertures desquelles son coup de crayon magique avait fait merveille. Que ce soit en « live » ou en « différé » ses dessins, croquis, esquisses et autres ébauches brillent de mille éclats, dont la véracité, l’humour, la poésie et la complicité ne sont pas les moindres. La collection BDJAZZ, en présentant ce florilège de ses portraits de jazzmen, est particulièrement fière de rendre hommage à celui qui fut pendant plusieurs années son indéfectible compagnon de swing.
